About the restaurant
Heskyn Mill near Saltash is a historic Grade 2* listed 18th-century mill, originally the flour mill for the Port Eliot estate. Within the restaurant are many of the original gear workings and the mill stones that were last used to grind corn in the 1960s. The Mill with it’s centuries old history is a charming and atmospheric place to relax over lunch or an evening meal. The Mill may also be booked at any time for intimate private parties.

We pride ourselves on our friendly service and the quality of our freshly prepared West Country produce. Our menu changes daily and with the seasons. We are proud to support our local food producers. Our restaurant is open for evening meals and Sunday lunch. Set in the heart of beautiful Cornish countryside, yet close to the A38 near Tideford. Vegetarian and gluten free food always available.

The Mill is available for private bookings 7 days a week. Whatever the occasion we will discuss your individual requirements and create a menu that suits your taste and budget.

Table reservations can be made on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings with arrival times between 6pm and 7.30pm. We also open on Sunday lunchtime, our arrival times are 12pm to 1.30pm. Group and private party bookings are available for 6 or more people at any time. Please contact us for details.

If travelling from Plymouth we are situated just the other side of Tideford. Just as you leave Tideford you will see a well sigposted left turn to St Germans, almost immediately after you turn take a right turn into a small lane go under the bridge and we are right in front of you. There is plenty of parking just behing the main building.
